All guided tours of VMFA’s permanent collection are free and last 50 minutes per tour. Tours are available Mon at noon, Tue – Fri at 10 am, 11 am, and noon; and Sat and Sun at 11 am and noon. Please submit your request no less than three weeks in advance to ensure gallery availability. All tour capacities are based on Docent and gallery availability. Please have one adult chaperone for every 10 students (limit six chaperones per group of 20), grades K – 12.
Self-directed visits are free and available Sat – Wed, 10 am – 5 pm and Thurs and Fri, 10 am – 9 pm. Please submit your request at least two to three weeks in advance to ensure gallery availability. Please have one adult chaperone for every 10 students, grades K–12.
