Registration for VMFA Members

To accommodate the high demand, members-only registration for the following categories will begin as noted:

Studio School and Art History Classes (ages 16+)

Tue, Aug 6 | 8 am (online or by phone) or 10 am (in person)

Teen and All Children’s Classes

Wed, Aug 7 | 8 am (online or by phone) or 10 am (in person)

Dominion Energy Jazz Café | John D’earth Quintet

Jazz Café proudly welcomes the electrifying trumpeter, composer, and educator John D’earth! He has performed and/or recorded with such jazz luminaries as Buddy Rich, Lionel Hampton, Tito Puente, Joe Henderson, and Clark Terry as well as pop stars Bruce Hornsby, Bonnie Raitt, and Dave Matthews. D’earth recently retired as Director of Jazz Performance for the University of Virginia. Features John D’earth on trumpet and flugelhorn; J.C. Kuhl on tenor sax; Garen Dorsey on piano; Randall Pharr on acoustic bass; and Devonne Harris on drums. Get ready for an evening of high-octane jazz at this performance, which coincides with Richmond Music Week.

Jazzy blues vocalist Lady E is back by popular demand! Lady E, also known as “the Duchess of the Blues,” has been sharing her participatory performances in RVA for too many years to count. She always brings some of Richmond’s finest musicians to back her, offering audiences an experience of pure joy through music.
