Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a bouquet of soulful music by the Johnny Lee Long Band, whose brand of funky jazz will spark joy for your mind, body, and soul. This performance features Johnny Lee Long on bass, Mikhail White on keyboard, Lenny Holmes on guitar, Leek Russell on drums, Michael G. Hawkins on flute, Dan Lèon on sax, Bob Miller on trumpet, Edward “Toby” Whitaker on trombone, Edalio Galarza on congas, and vocalists Norma Long and Wanda Jackson.

Dominion Energy Jazz Café | Kelli Strawbridge Quartet

Drummer, educator, and podcaster Kelli Strawbridge has performed and/or recorded with Savion Glover, Snarky Puppy, No BS! Brass Band, and many others. For this performance, Strawbridge will be joined by Ayinde Williams on piano, Randall Pharr on bass, and Chet Frierson on sax. This powerhouse ensemble will present jazz standards, plus popular and lesser-known works by Freddie Hubbard, Charles Earland, Wayne Shorter, Larry Young, and Sam Rivers.

Back by popular demand! The dynamic duo of song stylist Debra Dean and guitarist Patrick Lawler are favorites on the elite club circuit from New York to Florida and abroad. Audiences love their fun mix of jazz, blues and popular tunes. For this performance, “The Chanteuse” and Lawler will be joined by Mike Hawkins on bass and Todd Woodson on drums.
