Join us in the Leslie Cheek Theater to list to DC-based, Ethiopian Feedel Band. Feedel Band’s sound can best be described as an east African jazz, a merging of 1960s R&B and funk with traditional Ethiopian songs and instruments.

WestRock Art Education Center, Studio 1 | 11 am–3 pm
Join Anike Robinson, director of creative workshop Books to Brushes, for an Ethiopian storytelling and collaborative painting project. Books to Brushes is a creative workshop that blends participatory reading activities and art. During this workshop, students learn hands-on painting techniques and are encouraged to set their inner artist free.
