Dejan Jovanovic has spent his life immersed in applied art and high craft. Trained as a sculptor in Belgrade, Serbia, Dejan received an MFA in metal design from the ECU School of Art in North Carolina. Inspired by the textures and colors of the natural world, his pieces subtly combine metals such as gold, platinum, and silver, creating harmony through the interplay of various precious gemstones. Dejan has been honored with numerous international awards and commissioned projects for such distinguished clients as the White House, the Smithsonian Institution, Washington National Cathedral, and Tiffany & Co.
