Archives

The Archives is continually building its digital collections of unique primary source material in order to make these resources discoverable to the widest possible audience for teaching, learning, and research. Digital access increases visibility and use of the collections while allowing the original documents to be preserved for future generations. Here you can find a diverse collection of materials including personal correspondence, business records, exhibition catalogs, drawings, photographs, audio and video files, clippings and other ephemera that help tell the story of the museum, its collections, and the history of art and artists in Virginia.
