Medicinal or Drinking Horn (Primary Title)
Unknown (Artist)
Ornately carved horns are often used for holding a drink or medicines, and sometimes they are considered symbols of authority or ritual potency. For example, the figure on the Kongo ivory scepter (in the freestanding pedestal across the room) holds a medicinal horn to indicate his healing powers.
