This window, made by George Néret, conveys the powerful energy that Hector Guimard could generate with a simple curved line. Around 1897-98 he designed an entire residence for pharmacist Albert Roy in France’s Loire Valley. Both the dining and billiard rooms featured windows like this example. Other related stained-glass windows from this series are now at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.
