Registration for VMFA Members

To accommodate the high demand, members-only registration for the following categories will begin as noted:

Studio School and Art History Classes (ages 16+)

Teen and All Children’s Classes

Wed, Aug 7 | 8 am (online or by phone) or 10 am (in person)

Jazzy blues vocalist Lady E is back by popular demand! Lady E, also known as “the Duchess of the Blues,” has been sharing her participatory performances in RVA for too many years to count. She always brings some of Richmond’s finest musicians to back her, offering audiences an experience of pure joy through music.

The Triple Crossing Jazz Project brings the golden age of jazz to life with swinging classics, smooth blues, and nonstop energy. This Richmond-based combo delivers timeless grooves that get toes tapping and swing dancers swinging. TCJP is your ticket to a night of rhythm, nostalgia, and pure jazz joy. Featuring leader Jay Brown on vocals and tenor sax, Ayinde Williams on keyboard, Nate Bernard on bass, and Stephan LaRue on drums.

Larri Branch has performed regularly as a solo pianist and with several bands including the Larri Branch Agenda, Flavor Project, Studio 804, and Alejandros' Sobrinos. Branch has performed at the Altria Theater, the Broadberry, the National, the Richmond Jazz Festival, and the Latin Jazz and Salsa Festival. He'll be bringing his ensemble to the Jazz Café to perform a beautiful mixture of Latin and Afro-Cuban jazz. ¡Bailemos! Let’s dance!
