Vue de Paris; Bassin de la Villette (Primary Title)
Stanislas Lépine, French, 1835 - 1892 (Artist)
Lépine depicts a dock along the Bassin de la Villette, part of the canal system in northeastern Paris that historically served as a hub for the district’s many abbatoirs (slaughterhouses) and related agricultural industry.
