To accommodate the high demand, members-only registration for the following categories will begin as noted. Not a member? Join today.

Studio School and Art History Classes (ages 16+)

Teen and All Children’s Classes

Registration for Nonmembers

Nonmember registration for all classes begins Wed, Apr 16 | 8 am (online or by phone) or 10 am (in person)

In need of assistance?

Visitor Services is available by phone 804.340.1405 starting at 8 am or in-person at the museum starting at 10 am on registration days.

$30 (VMFA members $25)

For students 5-12 enrolled in both morning and afternoon youth camps, this program provides supervised activities such as drawing in the galleries and playing games as well as supervision during lunch. Students are required to bring bagged lunches from home.

[W1] Connect-a-Camp

Mon–Fri, Jun 23–27, noon–1 pm 

Only eligible for students enrolled in two kids camps in the same week (both morning and afternoon); this program provides supervision during lunch as well as guided art activities, games, and outdoor play for students to attend a full day. Students are required to bring bagged lunches from home. Please avoid bringing common food allergens such as peanuts and peanut products.

[W2] Connect-a-Camp

Mon–Thu, Jun 30–Jul 3 (no class on Fri, Jul 4), noon–1 pm 

Only eligible for students enrolled in two kids camps in the same week (both morning and afternoon); this program provides supervision during lunch as well as guided art activities, games, and outdoor play for students to attend a full day. Students are required to bring bagged lunches from home. Please avoid bringing common food allergens such as peanuts and peanut products.
