Larry Lyles has made a name for himself 
oin the Virginia music scene as a violinist, composer, and educator playing genres from “Gypsy Jazz” to European classical music. His modern, improvisational style is influenced by Stephane Grappelli, Jean-Luc Ponty and Richmond’s own Joe Kennedy, Jr., who mentored Lyles during his high school years. Enjoy swinging jazz standards, popular favorites, and a salute to the Father of Bebop violin himself, Joe Kennedy, Jr.! Featuring Larry Lyles on violin, Thomas Wakefield on guitar, Todd Woodson on drums, and David Yohe on bass.

Enjoy melodic, swinging flute interpretations of jazz standards and contemporary favorites presented by Marsha Meekins, who is well known throughout the area and Maryland for her classy, entertaining style. Meekins has been a perennial favorite at Jazz Café and we're happy to welcome her back. Featuring Marsha Meekins on flute and background vocals, Dr. Weldon Hill on keyboard, Matthew Steele on bass, Ronnie Thomas on drums, and Victor Nelson on vocals.
