Restaurant Partnerships in Celebration of
Frida: Beyond the Myth at VMFA

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is proud to be partnering with local Mexican restaurants in celebration of the exhibition Frida: Beyond the Myth.

Enhance your Frida: Beyond the Myth experience by delighting in Mexican cuisine and cocktails at the following restaurants. Their specially created Frida Kahlo–inspired items will be available during the run of the exhibition.

Conejo proudly serves some of Mexico’s most authentic dishes. Spanish for rabbit, the name Conejo also refers to a variety of Mexican heirloom corn. And according to the Aztec myth of the 400 Conejos, divine rabbits are the gods of agave spirits!
