After painting the background of a long, silk scarf, students draw images found in traditional Chinese art, like bamboo, fish, birds, and Chinese characters, using a liquid resist. Once the resist has dried, brilliant fabric paints are applied to complete the design. A materials fee of $15, payable to the instructor, will be collected at the beginning of the workshop.
