College Night: Connect. Join members of the College Advisory Council for VMFA College Night. Meet artists Molly Murphy Adams and Virgil Ortiz and view their work in the special exhibition, Hear My Voice Native American Art Past and Present; learn new ways to connect with works of art through a variety of facilitated, in-gallery activities and get inspired to contribute to the College Night Mosaic Collage in the Marble Hall!

6–8 pm | Make Art & Mingle | Marble Hall
Feeling inspired after visiting the galleries? Join us in creating a collaborative, mosaic collage. Free food and music will set the creative mood.
6–7 pm | Gallery activities, Museum-wide
Connect with art in new ways through a variety of facilitated, in-gallery activities.
6:45 & 7 pm| Artist talk, Evans Court Galleries
Molly Murphy Adams will discuss how her beaded works stems from a combination of traditional Native arts and modern art. Adams, a mixed blood descendent of the Oglala, Lakota tribe, learned beadwork at a very early age as well as hide tanning, sewing and traditional clothing design.
7:15 & 7:30 pm | Artist talk, Evans Court Galleries
Join Virgil Ortiz in the exhibition to discuss his contemporary take on traditional Chochiti pottery. Ortiz is a Pueblo artist, potter and fashion designer from Cochiti Pueblo, New Mexico.
7:50 pm | Raffle drawing, Marble Hall
Raffle winners will be announced at the end of the night. Winners must be present to collect prize.
