The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts’ fine dining restaurant, Amuse, is accepting applications for servers and hosts who are passionate about food, wine and art! All applicants must have experience working in a fine dining restaurant and demonstrate knowledge of exceptional service standards and skill. Promptness, professionalism and availability are also important. Applicants must be proficient in handling money, working with POS systems and other technology. They must be eager, self-motivated, quick learners, with a passion for hospitality in a fine arts building. Knowledge of a wide range of cuisine as well as wine, beer and other spirits are a plus.
All applicants must be flexible with job responsibilities and their availability for a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events for approx 15-30 hrs/week. Successful completion of a criminal background check is required. Serious applicants only please.
