This complex bronze, considered one of Mêne’s masterpieces, is often found paired with a similarly-scaled bronze depicting a foxhunt in Scotland. An astute businessman as well as capable craftsman, Mêne issued this sculpture with numerous variants, and thus at various price-points – the deluxe model being part-gilded.
