What’s the Big Idea sessions may use art from any of VMFA’s collections. To give students an idea of how objects are displayed in the museum, allow them to preview the Mid-Century American galleries. Let them explore the space before their visit and imagine what they can find at VMFA!

This interactive exercise invites students to slow down their looking and generate ideas as they creatively interpret an artwork from the VMFA’s 21st Century collection.
