Home/Grown: Photographs by Susan Worsham and Brian Palmer

Among the photographs in this exhibition are Brian Palmer’s poignant images of Henrico’s East End Cemetery, one of numerous neglected Black cemeteries in the area. The cemetery and those who tend to it are captured in Palmer’s evocative photographs.

Theaster Gates: Wonder Working Power

This exhibition features ceramic works by Theaster Gates, a Chicago-based multidisciplinary artist and professor dedicated to community transformation. He has called pottery “the magic of taking the lowliest material on earth—mud—and turning it into something beautiful and useful.

RVA Community Makers 2025

Feb 13–Mar 31, 2025

This seventh annual art installation led by Hamilton Glass honors community leaders. The 2025 installation features the work of sculptor Kourtenay Plummer and will be on view in the Cochrane Atrium.
