Unknown (Artist)

4th–3rd century BC
Overall: 1 in. (2.54 cm)
Animal-headed earrings were quite fashionable in both Greece and Rome. Depictions of women wearing such earrings in ancient art show that the animal heads hung upside down beneath the earlobe.
