William Williams, English, active 1802 (Artist)
The biography of the artist who signed these two charming but primitively rendered landscapes is unknown. He has sometimes been thought to be American. However, the buildings appear distinctive to East Anglia, particularly Suffolk, in England.
Inscribed at lower right, "W Williams Pinxit / 1802."
