Copper was a very popular medium during the American Arts and Crafts Movement, and the Roycrofters sold their copper objects nationwide to middle-class America. The Copper Shop, which employed as many as 35 workers, fabricated hand-hammered vases, trays, bowls, candlesticks, lighting fixtures, and many other types of objects.
