Ju illustrated the natural wonder of Xiling Gorge, featuring rugged mountain peaks, waterfalls, and clouds of mist. Named after a nearby mountain in Hubei Province, Xiling Gorge stretches 41 miles and is the longest gorge among the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River. Prior to the construction of the Three Gorges Dam, Xiling was the most dangerous one, with a narrow waterway and fast-moving currents.
