Printed beneath image in center: Bay Malton; this most Excellent Horse was never beat, being so Eminent for his Running, is the Property of the Right Honble. the Marquis of Rockingham, he Won 5 Capital Sweepstakes of / 1000, 500 & 400 Guineas each, he beat the famous Gray Horse Gimcrack at Newmarket for 1000 Guineas, he beat Lord Grosvenor's Cardinal Puff for the Whip, likewise Sr. James Lowthers Askam for / the Jockey Club Plate (he also Receiv'd several Forfeits) at Newmarket, which was the last time he started or perhaps ever will, he being design'd for a Stallion./ Printed for Robt.
