This small bottle is representative of Buncheong ware produced in the early Joseon dynasty. Its brushed-on motifs in iron-brown on white slip, created in a spontaneous manner, are characteristic of Buncheong ware, which was produced at the kilns around Mount Gyeryong in Chungcheongnam province.
