A creator god associated with the city of Sais in the Nile Delta, Neith wears the deshret, the red crown of Lower Egypt. Attested as early as the pre-Dynastic period, prior to the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt, her cult was eventually included in the Egyptian pantheon and celebrated throughout the entire land.
