By carefully studying designs, colors, and materials used in traditional Korean costume, contemporary master seamstress Choi Bok-hee handcrafted elegant and colorful clothing in a style reminiscent of 19th-century Korean fashion. This ceremonial woman’s costume consists of a short jacket and a long skirt, both featuring designs of peaches, pomegranates, and peonies, which respectively symbolize longevity, prosperity, and wealth. The garment’s vibrant color scheme required special dyes made from natural pigments.

Exhibited at the exhibition entitled "Choi Bok-Hee's Works：Representation of Korean Traditional Costumes" (崔福姬作品展：韩国传统衣裳の再现）at Kyoto University of Arts and Design (京都造形芸術大學) in Japan from Febuary 8 through March 11, 2006.
