"Dieses Werk wurde im Auftrage des Drei Masken Verlages A.-G. in München als 11. Obelisk-Druck in der Offizin der Mandruck A.-G. München, hergestellt. Die Holzschnitte von Frans Masereel entstanden im Frühjahre 1923 und Wurden für diese Ausgabe von den Originalholzstöcken abgezogen. Die Auflage beträgt 340 Exemplare, von denen 320 in den Handel gelangen. 70 Exemplare als A-Ausgabe auf handgeschöpftem Bütten tragen die Nummern I-LXX, 250 Exemplare der B-Ausgabe auf deutschem Bütten wurden numeriert 1-250."--Colophon.
