Liang Tongshu 梁同書, Chinese, 1723 - 1815 (Artist)
Regarded as one of the greatest calligraphers of his time, Liang Tongshu, son of court official Liang Shizheng (1697–1763), achieved fame at a young age. Like many Chinese calligraphers, Liang studied the style of earlier great calligraphers such as Su Shi and Mi Fu; however, he later developed his own style, writing with a continuous, rhythmic flow.
