Teen Talent 2012: Power, Status, & Identity

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts showcased the skills of 24 talented teens on May 25, 2012. This event provided local teens with a stage to demonstrate works of spoken word, monologue, song, dance, and film. The event was based on the theme Power, Status, and Identity and was inspired by the special exhibition  Maharaja: The Splendors of India’s Great Kings. Awards were distributed based on audience choice. Categories included Best in Show, Best Interpretation of the Theme, Most Creative Interpretation of the Theme, Best Stage Presence, Most Talented in Grade, and Best Choreography.
