Wine Ladle (Primary Title)
Unknown (Artist)
These ladles were almost certainly made as a pair since the handle of the shorter ladle (with a single duck’s head) fits so precisely between the duck heads of the longer one that there is a continuous horizontal line across both. The bowls of Etruscan ladles from this period are shallower and broader than those produced in the Greek world.
